our newest addition Richard Blom, he joins our team as Manager Rivercruise Reservations.
Richard has a ton of experience in hospitality, gained in the Amsterdam hotel industry and in his last job as Customer Success Coordinator at an online staffing platform.
Richard how did you end up at Cruise Port Amsterdam?
“I live on the IJ and see the ships sail by daily, which is a beautiful sight. When I was made aware of the open position, this seemed like the perfect place for me to combine my knowledge of hospitality and experience with online platforms – and enjoy the activity on the water even more.”
What are you most looking forward to this coming season?
“I am looking forward to building out, further implementing and optimizing CruiseDock together with my colleagues to make this as successful as possible. There is a strong foundation and now the great challenge is to build this out further to relieve our users as much as possible and assist them in the various processes.”
